La molisana , la pasta di semola, solo grano italiano, le linguine n.6, 500gr.
Durum wheat semolian pasta.
Also known as bavette or trenette, linguine belong to the same family of spaghetti, from which they differ for the section that, instead of being cylindrical, is flat. In practice it is a crushed spaghetti with a rectangular section with a medium thickness. Compared to linguine, trenettes have a square section, a greater thickness and a smaller width. The format seems to have Ligurian origins, in particular Genoese and is famously combined with pesto or fish sauces.
