Pine nuts from Mediterranean forests
Pinus pinea, a plant symbol of the Mediterranean coast, produces pine nuts of excellent quality, with ivory tones and that recall in the flavor the resinous spicy aromas of pine. The precious seeds are kept in their slow maturation for three years inside the cones, before being patiently collected by hand and extracted one by one. They are rich in vegetable proteins, which contribute to the growth of muscle mass.
