Dried Fruits

Dried fruit is a category used to indicate a group of fruits that have been dried and therefore are used as food for the high content of nutrients, in particular polyunsaturated fats.

It should not be confused with dried fruit which is instead a fruit that has undergone a drying process, or dehydration, which allows it to be preserved well beyond the normal shelf life.
