Honey with a very light colour, ranging from white to straw-yellow, up to light beige. It has a floral, fruity aroma, with a note reminiscent of the flowers of zagara and a subtle and persistent aroma of citrus peel. With a fruity and pleasantly acidic taste, it is crystallized. It is harvested in spring, in southern Italy and on the islands.
The line MIELIZIA BIO - TOGETHER FOR BIODIVERSITY is born from the long experience that the beekeepers of Conapi have with respect to the biological breeding techniques of bees. Our beekeepers' hives are placed away from sources of pollution and the bees are raised in total respect of their biorhythms, cared for with natural systems to defend them against diseases.
Mielizia honey is not pasteurized: it is produced at a temperature never higher than 40°, the temperature of the hive, to keep intact taste, perfume and nutritional principles.

Use: Ideal for the preparation of baked goods, to sweeten and flavor yogurt, cream-based desserts and whipped cream. Countless are the possible combinations with this honey. It can be used for omelets, spring vegetable salads, with fish and cheeses of various ripening (scamorza, provola...).
