The tomatoes, harvested in July, August and September, are processed to preserve their taste, smell and nutritional properties. After washing and sorting, the tomatoes are stripped of their skin with steam, only then are the tomatoes ground, passed and concentrated. The product is then bottled and pasteurised to ensure its stability over time.
The Alce Nero organic tomato puree is prepared without additives and added salt.
