HYALURONIC ACID
It is a linear, elastic and very resistant molecule that makes up the skin’s connective tissue, able to bind a large amount of water molecules for better hydration of the skin. At the level of chemical structure, hyaluronic acid is classified as a glycosaminoglycan, a long sequence composed of two simple sugars, glycuronic acid and N-acetylglucosamine.
Hyaluronic acid gives the tissues turgidity, plasticity and elasticity, also acting as a water reserve. Based on molecular weight, hyaluronic acid provides several benefits to the skin: with high molecular weight remains on the skin surface ensuring an excellent hydration both in the very short and medium time while molecules with low molecular weight penetrate the epidermis with plumping properties and relaxing for wrinkles and soothing characteristics and moisturizers lasting over time.
